OMFG!!!
I loaded up Tumblr on my phone for the first time ever. Man, this looks way better here than on a computer!

I’m in the center of a city and I’m informed that the trains are not running due to wind. I look around the sky and just mere streaks of white against the backdrop of pink and ever-encroaching blue.
I hop in my car and I navigate the roads that I’ve across hundreds of times, but they seem so foreign to me today.
Pastel colored apartment superstructures fade to unpaved desert roads, my destination.
It’s on my return that this trip became even memorable. A local warned me against the winds again, and again, I disregarded it.
The first intersection I drove across nearly turned my steering wheel completely around; this must have been an incredible cross-wind, but no dust, no evidence of such. I press on a prepare for the next intersection and the cross-wind originates from the opposite direction; I almost steer the car off of the road.
There’s a turn in the road that points in head-on towards the winds. My car shakes, yet I still see no dust. There is however a dark pitch that extends itself around the small radius of my car and I can only see 5 feet of headlight illuminated asphalt ahead of me.
A horn is honking, apparently in a cautionary manner. For some reason, I know that these warnings are directed directly to me. My foot is steady on the pedal, but I turn my head completely around and only see complete matte black.
I wake up.
I’m slightly depressed as I think about the metaphorical suggestions within the dream.
